Undergraduate Studies

Bagaimanakah cara untuk memohon belajar di UMK?

UMK membuat pengambilan pelajar setahun sekali iaitu pada semester September. Permohonan bagi semester September hendaklah dibuat melalui Bahagian Pengurusan Kemasukan Pelajar Jabatan Pengurusan IPT Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi. Sila layari laman web Kementerian di alamat http://www.mohe.gov.my. Iklan mengenai permohonan kemasukan ke IPTA dikeluarkan oleh pihak kementerian.

Siapakah yang layak memohon program di UMK?

Pelajar lepasan STPM, STAM, Matrikulasi dan Diploma daripada IPTA/IPTS yang diiktiraf.

I received an offer to pursue my study in UMK. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I could not register on the registration date. What should I do?
You can defer your study by filling up the deferment form Application For Deferment/ Extension/ Withdrawal/ Status Conversion before the registration date as stated in the offer letter. 

How long can I defer my registration?
The deferment is valid for only one semester and you are required to register the following semester.

If I am not able to register in the following semester, what should I do?
The offer letter is no longer valid. You are required to reapply.

Bagaimana sekiranya mempunyai tunggakan yuran pengajian?
Kadar yuran semasa dan yuran tertunggak boleh disemak dengan cara:
  1. Melayari portal pelajar
  2. Kaunter Pejabat Bendahari di setiap cawangan Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK)
Bagaimana cara untuk menjelaskan yuran pengajian?
Yuran pengajian boleh dibayar melalui 4 kaedah :-
  • Perbankan internet – 'Bill Presentment'
  • Pindahan ATM – Yuran IPT 'Bill Presentment'
  • Kaunter Bank Islam –Slip Pembayaran
  • Kaunter Pejabat Bendahari di setiap cawangan kampus
Apakah tindakan sekiranya pelajar mempunyai tungakan yuran pengaian?
Sekiranya pelajar mempunyai tunggakan yuran pengajian, pelajar tidak dibenarkan untuk menduduki peperiksaan, tidak boleh membuat pendaftaran kursus dan di sekat daripada mengambil keputusan peperiksaan.

Bagaimana status yuran sekiranya pelajar menangguh atau berhenti daripada pengajian pada semester semasa? Status yuran bagi pelajar tangguh atau berhenti ada termaktub di dalam buku peraturan akademik Universiti Malaysia Kelantan para 8.6 iaitu :-
  1. Jika kelulusan diberi sebelum cuti pertengahan semester, pelajar dikehendaki menjelaskan separuh daripada yuran pengajian. 
  2. Jika kelulusan diberi selepas cuti semester berakhir, pelajar dikehendaki menjelaskan keseluruhan yuran pengajian.
  3. Pelbagai yuran lain perlu dijelaskan sepenuhnya mengikut perenggan (i) dan (ii) di atas manakala yuran asrama adalah mengikut kiraan sebenar menduduki asrama. Bagi pelajar berhenti di bawah para 10.2 termaktub pelajar berdaftar (termasuk pelajar yang telah membuat pra pendaftaran kursus) yang berhenti dari mengikuti program setelah semester bermula dikehendaki menjelaskan semua bayaran yuran semester berkenaan.

Sekiranya pelajar telah mempunyai tajaan dan pada semester yang sama pelajar ditawarkan tajaan lain, bolehkah pelajar menerima tajaan tersebut tanpa menolak tajaan sedia ada?
Pelajar boleh memohon lebih daripada satu tajaan tetapi pihak universiti berhak menentukan kelayakan penerimaan ke atas tajaan tersebut dan tertakluk kepada syarat daripada pihak penaja.

Berapa lamakah untuk memproses pembayaran balik yuran pelajar atau bayaran biasiswa/pinjaman penaja?.
Proses bayaran balik kepada pelajar mengambil masa (2) dua minggu selepas cek yang diterima 'clear' di bank dan tertakluk kepada proses

Can I send application for renewal of student pass or dependant pass 1 month before the expiry date?

No. Kindly submit all the required documents 3 MONTH before expiry date.

 

I want to bring my family. Who can I apply for Dependant Pass?

You can apply for Dependant Pass only per as following:

  1. Wife/husband with children or
  2. Mother/father or
  3. Brother/sister or
  4. Husband & mother

 

How many intakes to enrol international student per year?

February & September intake

 

What is the entry requirement for the undergraduate programmes in UMK?

 A: Qualification

  • Minimum of 3 principal with an A-Level examination or:
  • International Baccalaureate(IB)(with one sitting)

 English Proficiencies

  • TOEFL score 500 or:
  • IELTS band 5.5 or:
  • UMK (I-PREP) (International Preparatory Programme)

Can I use the Visit/Social Pass without applying for a student pass?

 All international students (except Diplomatic pass holders, Malaysian Permanent Residents (P.R)) are required to have a student pass while studying at UMK
