Bravo UMK Partner in VISION ZERO 2019

10 July 2019, Putrajaya | UMK has registered under International Social Security Association (ISSA) to become the partner of VISION ZERO to support the philosophy and become the pillar among the best Practice of Safety & Health organisations in Malaysia. To this date UMK is among 50organizations in Malaysia registered as partners including DOSH, SOCSO, MSOSH etc. The campaign was officially launched on 10 July 2019 in Putrajaya by YB M. Kula Segaran Minister Human Resources of Malaysia.

ZERO ACCIDENTThe concept of Vision Zero is introduced by International Social Security Association (ISSA) which has been adopted by SOCSO and almost 2000 companies, over 500 national, regional and international organisations and over 500 occupational and safety and health trainers around the world. The philosophy that binds the many facets of Vision Zero are imperative in ensuring a safe and conducive working environment. These are vital for both the employees and employers which transcend sectors and their type of work.

The Vision Zero 2019  will assist all the organisation through on the philosophy behind the inception of Vision Zero, outlining the pillars of Vision Zero and crytallising the concept through sharing of existing and prospective efforts undertaken by corporations and institutions in manifesting Vision Zero at their own workplace or environment. The ultimate aim of this partnership is to equip and rally the stakeholders to always strive for a safer and more conducive work environment by inculcating a prevention culture in their workplace which that integrates Safety, Health, Well being at Work. With this partnership, UMK again will be a symbol of organisation that bringing the highest commitment on OSH towards spearhead the EOSH Excellence in the country.

The cooperation and attention of UMK family in this regard is very important to ensure all UMK family are SAFE, HEALTHY and WELL BEING at work.
